What this site is
This is a membership-based services site offering Reasoning Dining’s dish reference data, restaurant network and supply network, together with the related data standards, documentation and software. It is not a food business operator and not a party to transactions between restaurants and suppliers; the nature of the data is set out in the data standards and the disclaimer.
Using the content
Copyright and licensing of public content are set out on the copyright and licence page; when you reuse or quote it under that licence, give the author, title, URL and date of access. The permitted use of member materials and data is governed by the membership agreement.
Accounts
If you register, give true and accurate information and keep your password safe. You are responsible for everything done under your account. Tell us at once if you suspect it has been misused.
Membership
Levels, benefits, fees, renewal, refunds and data ownership are governed by the membership agreement; what each level includes is shown on the membership plans page. A member account is for the registered person or the restaurant or company they represent and may not be transferred or shared.
Comments and submissions
You keep the copyright in your comments and submissions. By submitting you confirm that you have the right to do so and grant this site a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to publish, edit and archive them.
Prohibited conduct
- publishing unlawful, infringing, defamatory, harassing or discriminatory content, or malicious code;
- impersonating others, or falsifying authorship, sources or data;
- bulk scraping or mirroring the site without permission, or accessing it in ways that impair its operation;
- trying to circumvent access controls, break into the system or interfere with other users;
- posting advertising, spam or promotion unrelated to the discussion.
We may remove content that breaches these terms and suspend or close the accounts involved.
